This Sunday there will be a new champion in England. The Carabao Cup will be the first of the country's three major tournaments to be decided this season and fans around the world will be in front of their TVs watching it. Liverpool and Chelsea will face each other at Wembley Stadium with the aim of securing a victory that will allow them to celebrate and face the decisive stage in the other competitions with renewed energy.

For the Blues, it is perhaps the only chance to be champions this year, considering that they are not competing in international tournaments and that in the Premier League they are far from the top. Their other chance is the FA Cup, where they are in the round of 16 and must face Leeds United. But for The Reds it is different: they are the only ones with real chances of being champions in four different tournaments and this Sunday they will go for the first of them.
Coach Jurgen Klopp will field the best possible team, considering that stars like Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Dominik Szoboszlai and Diogo Jota are unavailable due to physical problems. And it's a similar story for Mauricio Pochettino, as Reece James, Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia will be absent.
Liverpool's starting lineup will be: Caoimhin Kelleher; Conor Bradley, Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Andrew Robertson; Alexis MacAllister, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, Ryan Gravenberch; Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz. Also on the bench will be Adrian, Joe Gomez, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Jarell Quansah, Clark, McConnell, Koumas, Danns and Nyoni.
